2025 YEAR IN REVIEW

Thank you for being a mission-minded, outward-focused, faith-shaping, difference-making church family throughout 2025.
You showed up. You served. You gave. You invited people to sit with you. You created welcoming environments for kids, students, and adults. And you celebrated every story of life change—every baptism, every step of faith, every moment someone said “yes” to Jesus.
Because of you, people were inspired to follow Him.
Thank you for being part of the story God is writing through The Church at Tuscaloosa. I’m stepping into 2025 deeply grateful and incredibly excited for what’s ahead.

2025 IN 3 WINS
Every year tells a story, and 2025 was defined by breakthrough moments. Across our church, we saw lives transformed, new leaders emerging, and our impact in Tuscaloosa expanding. These three wins highlight the heart of our mission and show how God is shaping us into a church that blesses our city.

Life Change Led the Way
2025 has been a year marked by transformation. Forty-three people publicly declared their faith through baptism, each one representing a story of God’s grace at work. New families have connected, new believers have taken their next steps, and people continue to find hope and belonging at TCAT.
"I never really cared about church or religion—I lived however I wanted. But when I started reading the Bible for myself and talking with coworkers who were believers, something changed. The more I looked, the more I saw God in my everyday life, and I knew it was time to repent and fully commit my life to Jesus."

Our Impact Expanded
This year, God opened doors for our church to serve our city in deeper and more meaningful ways.
Night to Shine 2025 was our largest yet with 200 honored guests, 200+ caregivers served, 500 volunteers mobilized, and over $30,000 raised and invested back into our community. When the church shows up with love, the city notices.
Our partnership with PARA for Easter Jam created an unforgettable outreach moment, engaging hundreds of families and elevating TCAT as a trusted, joyful, hope-giving presence in Tuscaloosa.

Leaders Stepped Forward
This year we launched LDG, training 8 men in spiritual leadership and unleashing them into influence at church, home, and work. We've also experienced a 65% increase in our volunteer base since 2023!

We are deeply grateful for every volunteer who serves at TCAT. Your joy, consistency, and willingness to show up make ministry happen every single week. From greeting guests to investing in kids to leading behind the scenes, you are the heartbeat of our church. Thank you for giving your time, gifts, and love so generously.
LDG (Leadership Development Group) launched this year as a focused pathway for spiritual and leadership growth. Over several months, eight men committed to intentional training, accountability, and discipleship. LDG equips emerging leaders to serve with character, clarity, and purpose—strengthening the foundation of our church and multiplying influence in homes, workplaces, and ministries across TCAT.

A Growing Community
Behind every number is a person, a story, and a step of faith. Our attendance this year reflects a growing community of people finding belonging, purpose, and hope at TCAT. These past five years show a steady, encouraging pattern—evidence of God’s faithfulness and your commitment to making space for others.

Any Given Sunday
Every Sunday is someone’s first Sunday at TCAT. Whether they’re searching for hope, exploring faith for the first time, or simply looking for a place to belong, people walk through our doors each week carrying real stories and real needs. We don’t take that lightly. It’s why we greet with warmth, serve with purpose, and preach with clarity—because every Sunday is an opportunity to help someone meet Jesus and find home.
Across four years, TCAT has seen steady, consistent growth in attendance:
2022: 215
2023: 238
2024: 275
2025: 297
Every number represents a person with a story and we’re grateful for every one.

TCAT Kids experienced remarkable growth this year, both in numbers and in energy. What once fit comfortably in a smaller room quickly outgrew the space as more families joined our church and more children began showing up eager to learn about Jesus. This surge led us to expand into a larger environment, add new volunteers, and strengthen our programming. The growth in TCAT Kids isn’t just numerical—it reflects a thriving, joy-filled ministry where children feel seen, known, and excited to grow in their faith.
Student Ministry gained real momentum this year, and you can feel the excitement every week. There’s a fresh energy in the room—a sense that God is stirring something new in the next generation—and we’re just getting started.

Stewardship
This is the story of a church that stewards every dollar purposefully and transparently. Your giving isn’t just funding ministry—it’s changing lives.

Giving is one of the most tangible ways our church continues to move forward in ministry. Every gift fuels life-changing moments—from creating welcoming Sunday environments, to discipling kids and students, to supporting outreach partnerships across Tuscaloosa. Generosity keeps our ministries strong, our teams equipped, and our mission advancing. When you give, you’re not just supporting a budget—you’re investing in transformed lives and a church that is making a real difference.
Because of your generosity, we were able to accomplish meaningful ministry work. We paid off the remaining mortgage, expanded our Kids Ministry space, funded LDG leadership development, and blessed Tuscaloosa through Night to Shine, Easter Jam, and ongoing outreach partnerships. These aren’t just financial wins—they are ministry wins.
